✅ Description:
- Luliconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent from the azole group.
- It works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase, blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, leading to fungicidal activity against dermatophytes, Candida albicans, Malassezia spp, and other fungi.

- Contact dermatitis and cellulitis may occur.
- Application site reactions were observed in less than 1% of clinical trial subjects.
✔️ Dosage & Administration:
- Adult & Geriatric:
- Interdigital tinea pedis: Apply once daily for 2 weeks to the affected area and about 1 inch of the surrounding area.
- Tinea cruris and Tinea corporis: Apply once daily for 1 week to the affected area and about 1 inch of the surrounding area.
- Pediatric Use: Safety and effectiveness have not been established.

- Hypersensitivity to Luliconazole.
✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:
- Pregnancy: There are no well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Use only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.
- Lactation: It is not known whether Luliconazole is excreted in breast milk. Caution is advised when used by breastfeeding women.
✔️ Precautions & Warnings:
- If any allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and begin appropriate therapy.
- Lulexa is for topical use only and should not be used for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal application.
